Note: From the artist: "In this work I chose to emphasize the distant hills–looking across the treetops to the three bands of pastel shades towards the horizon. The furthest band, with the pinkish violet color, nearly blended with the dense bank of fog in the right sky. Small patches of blue sky can be seen trying to poke through the atmosphere." Fine 16K gold gilt hand carved frame.
